I was just wondering, if my personalization / configs are getting lost, if I just delete the old addon folder and paste the new one.
WOW ADDONS ELVUI UPDATE UPDATE
As far as I understood you need to delete the ElvUI Addon folder and just paste the new update there.
WOW ADDONS ELVUI UPDATE MODS
Even though I've linked some other good UIs in my sig, RealUI is just hard to beat for me, it just feels good like ElvUI used to for me. In order to manually download ElvUI you can either click the 'Download ElvUI ' button in the middle of the website, or click on 'Addons' in the top navigation bar of the website, then click ElvUI and choose between 'Download (Retail)' or 'Download (Classic)' where retail means BfA / Shadowlands and classic means WoW: Classic. Unfortunately it is not in the TwitchApp Mods section, you cannot just update it from this client. 7.1 have resulted in a few bumps in the road but they are extremely minor. Updating RealUI requires downloading and replacing because it's not on Curse - however, you can update the individual addons with Curse without any issue (except for a couple that are marked as do not update on the site I don't think Curse even detects them anymore so it's been a nonissue.)It's really well made. This utility provides an alternative to the Twitch/Curse client for management and updating of addons for World of Warcraft. Finalement Is ElvUI on Curseforge As you may have noticed, unlike other WoW addons. It can be downloaded at directly or through a desktop client.

Unlike many AddOns for World of Warcraft, ElvUI must be downloaded from the creator’s website and not through a service like CurseForge. RealUI itself has a nice custom configuration HUD where almost everything can be configured or turned off. It also means if we push an update it will not mess with any ElvUI files. Let’s look at how you can download and setup ElvUI now.

The included bag addon has been pretty awful in Legion so far, bug-wise, but everything else has been solid. RealUI is kind of basic in some areas but does a pretty solid job of keeping key information near the center of the screen. I started on TukUI and ElvUI and ultimately didn't care for them I'd be more specific but this was during WotLK so I honestly don't remember.
